The Other 98%? The Decline and Absurdity of the American Left

Since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, predictably motivated by NATO’s designs on Russia, I’ve seen what casually passes for the American left expose itself as a tool of the same political system that they claim to oppose. Here is a selection of memes posted by a Facebook group called, ironically, ‘The Other 98%’. The group has 6.6 million members, and its slogan, which you’ll see dragged in the mud throughout these examples, is ‘Keeping the Class War classy.’
